Good health is probably the most precious commodity for every person on the planet. The Seventh-day Adventist Church promotes that each person should live life to their maximum, God-given, potential. This includes all facets namely: physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.
The aim of the Health Ministries Department is to assist individuals, local churches and their communities to experience that quality-of-life through:
- Education resources
- Training seminars
- Group support
- Community health awareness campaigns
Adventist Clinics in Vanuatu
The Seventh-day Adventist Church in partnership with the Vanuatu Government helps to meet the Medical needs of isolated communities in Vanuatu. In most instances the church provides a building in which a government funded and community operated clinic runs. Many nursing staff are Seventh-day Adventists. Two clinics are completely funded by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Vanuatu.
Recent partnerships with donors and volunteers in Australia through a South Pacific Division Adventist Health Department Initiative called "Adopt a Clinic" is seeing many of these clinics refurbished.
The Adventist Church is a stake holder in the following clinics:
